     The company grew out of The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Troop 89134. It was transferred into industry and incorporated into Ministry of Railway and began to operate as an enterprise in January 1984. It is a large construction group company composed mainly of reputed Beijing Zhong-Tie Construction Engineering Corporation, remodeled into the Beijing Zhong-Tie Construction company  Limited in August 2001 and changed name as the Zhong-Tie Construction Group Corporation Limited in December 2003. The company is a firm under the direct control of SASAC. The company has more than 3000 employees, among them 1600 are management personnel, and 1256 have professional titles. It has 1118 engineering technician, among them 756 have middle or high rank professional titles. It has more than 160 chief project managers graded of large or middle capacity.
